Hello everyone! I'm back today on the blog to bring you a spooky Halloween card in honor of my favorite holiday -- Halloween! But before we get to that, be sure to grab today's free file of the day from Miss Kate Cuttables.

http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/freebie-of-the-day/

Remember, it's free for today only!

And now for my card -- a super spooky Halloween card with one of my favorite Halloween sayings. As soon as I saw this file in the store a few weeks ago, I knew I had to create a card with it.

Something Wicked card for Miss Kate Cuttable by Lissa

I love how it turned out. I used the print and cut feature on my Cameo to cut out the saying, then used a Miss Kate Cuttables double-mat file to create the background.

After cutting out the saying and the mats, I used paper scraps to create the card front, then inked all the edges and used foam dots for added dimension. Finally, I added a few black scroll stickers.

I just love that we get a freebie from the fabulous Miss Kate Cuttables to look forward to each day!

And now for my card for today:

Thankful Card by Lissa for Miss Kate Cuttables

So pretty! To create it, I used lots of patterned and solid paper scraps from my stash, along with these cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables:

http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/product/freebie-of-the-day-fall-word-titles.php

http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/fall-autumn-sale/fall-backgrounds.php

http://www.misskatecuttables.com/products/product/freebie-of-the-day-banner-set.php

After I cut all the pieces out with my Silhouette Cameo, inked all the edges, and adhered everything down, I added in the dimensional flower and then spritzed everything with Mr. Huey's Color Mist in Shine by Studio Calico. I love how it turned out!

Hi Everyone!
Kimberly here to share a project today but first don't forget to get today's freebie!

What a great freebie!!
For my project, I wanted to make a altered canvas with a Thanksgiving feeling.
I used the "Gather Here with Grateful Hearts", "Assorted Hearts" and "Fall Flourishes" to make my altered canvas.

I started by distressing my canvas with Vintage Photo distress ink then adhered the phrase, hearts and flourishes with some adhesive.

Miss Kate Cuttables:

Thanks for stopping by to get all the details of my project stop by my blog!

Homemade Goodies Gift Set

Hi, Crafters! Janis here from Pause Dream Enjoy.
Today is my Design Team posting day for
But first, did you see today's FREEBIE?

It's only free for today, so make sure you go grab it!

For today's project I decided to use:

Fall Set
Here's my project:

Pattern papers from Doodlebug Design Inc - Happy Harvest
Timeless Twine - Autumn Splendor
Solid papers - Stampin' Up
The top of the jar has 3 layers:
solid cardstock circle, pattern paper scallop circle, and pattern paper circle.

This is some homemade Strawberry Jam my husband and I made earlier this year. It's yummy. :)

Sentiment from Craftin Desert Divas - Say It Big stamp set
Everything inked around the edges with Tim Holtz Walnut Stain

I simplified the cuts reducing layers and did not use the leaf stems.
For a little 3x3 card and small canning jar like this, I thought it looked better without all the details on the cuts. That's a great thing about Miss Kate Cuttables files - you can use all the layers and details, or simplify them and they still have a wonderful affect for your projects.

Thanks for stopping by today to see what I'm up to.

Hi Everybody!
Jenny from Crazy About Cricut here, and I'm super excited to share another Miss Kate Cuttables project with you!  First, I want to make sure you grab the freebie of the day:

So many possibilites!  These would look great as hanging decor, treat topper, napkin rings and so much more!!  And now, onto my project for today!  Here are the details:

*American Crafts - solid cardstock
*Recollections - patterned paper
*Craftworks - Candi Embellishments
*pop dots

*Titles are great for more than layouts!  When I saw this one, I knew it would be perfect on a card!

*Because of the smaller size, I changed up one of the layers on
Santa's beard so that the mustache cut out by itself.
*I inked it in light blue, and popped it up to add dimension.

*When making cuts this small, make sure to use quality cardstock to help get clean cuts.

I hope you enjoyed my project!  I'd love to see some of you try try this and share it on the Miss Kate Cuttables Facebook page HERE, or on my Facebook page HERE.  TFL, and hope everyone has a chance to craft today :)
