For today's project, I decided to use:

Christmas paper - Carta Bella "So this is Christmas"

Dew drops for berries

Small magnets to have the flap "snap" closed

Here's a close-up of the magnets & a sneak peek inside:

I love it!
You can make these for any occasion:
Get Well - include tea, cough drops, tissues, chicken soup...
Happy Birthday - stick a cupcake in there!
Christmas - small gifts
Valentines - heart shaped cookies
and on, and on, and on....

The paper bag is sturdy enough that
you could even include some baked goodies. Yum!

I found a great video tutorial on YouTube  
explaining how to turn a paper bag
into an adorable purse.

Believe in Santa

I also used these supplies:

*Michaels - charger plate
*printable vinyl

*I totally fell in love with this Santa when I saw him!  I thought his big, friendly face would be perfect for home decor.


*The berry branches were just the right length to slightly curve around the plate.


*I chose the word believe, because I think we should always believe in the spirit of Santa :D

Hi everyone! It's Ginger from My Sisters Scrapper. Today I want to share a Christmas card that I created but first make sure you go and grab the freebie of the day!


For my card I used two different files. I used the pretty poinsettia file.

And the Joy and Noel title file.
Here's my card that I created with these two fabulous files.


Here's a side view of the poinsettia. I cut the poinsettia out three times so I could layer it to create more dimension.

I love how it turned out! To create it, I used lots of patterned and solid paper scraps from my stash, along with these cut files from Miss Kate Cuttables:

Christmas Flourishes by Miss Kate Cuttables

What a fun combo! I used the print and cut feature on my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the sentiment, then layered up my patterned papers by cutting them out with my Kiwi Lane Designer Templates. I inked up all the edges in red or green, and then added just a bit of bling with red and green glitter glue. Love it!

I Believe in Santa!

Hello and happy Wednesday! Thank you so much for joining me for my project this week. :)

I am so excited to show you my project...


I have had a glass block in my garage for over 3 years and I finally decided to make something with it.  For those of you that don't have a block just laying around you can get them at most Hobby Stores.  I actually picked up a couple more to make gifts at Hobby Lobby - they have there glass products on sale for 50% off.  I got the lights inside at our local Dollar Tree (yes, for a Dollar).  The ribbon is from Joanns and was 60% off.   I used frosting spray on the front - you can get this at most hobby stores also, including Hobby Lobby.

I used MKC adorable I Believe in Santa file to cut my vinyl - it's on sale through December 28th.  I used Red, white, black and yellow.  It's hard to see the white in the photo but it's on the Santa hat.  :)

I wanted to say a little something about how and why I created this project.  Every year for the holidays, I make our entire family calendars.  It's especially appreciated by our extended family that we don't get to see very often.  This year, the holidays seemed to creep up on me faster than ever!  Since we have a strict Christmas budget, I had to get the calendars done.  

So I sat down with my My Memories Suite scrapbooking program, pictures, and my Miss Kate Cuttables PNG files!  Since they have a clear background, they are the perfect embellishment for digital scrapbooking!  I was able to complete the ENTIRE calendar, get 10 of them printed, and bound in 3 days!!!  Since I needed so many I used a professional printer to print and bind.  But if you still need a last minute gift, you could totally create and print this on your home computer!
